Eprinex pour-on is the other zero-withdrawal parasiticide, and the one designed for dairy from the start: eprinomectin partitions away from milk, so the label carries no milk discard and no slaughter withdrawal for any class of cattle.
For beef herds its zero-day status makes it interchangeable with Cydectin pour-on from a withdrawal standpoint; rotation between drug classes for resistance management is the better reason to pick one over the other in a given year.
What the label requires
- Zero slaughter withdrawal, zero milk discard, all cattle classes.
- The long-acting injectable version (LongRange) is a different product with a 48-day withdrawal — do not confuse them.
- Dose by weight along the backline; rain shortly after application reduces efficacy.
Always follow the label on your bottle and your veterinarian's directions. Extra-label use — any different dose, route, or frequency — voids the withdrawal above; your vet sets the interval instead, usually via FARAD. When in doubt, hold longer. Label data checked July 18, 2026.

Is there any withdrawal at all for Eprinex?
No — at label use the U.S. label specifies no pre-slaughter withdrawal and no milk discard. It is one of the few cattle products where "treat today, ship tomorrow" is legal. The injectable LongRange formulation of the same molecule is completely different: 48 days.
